A50 IMEI Locked ????? - GSM-Forum

I have a problem with A50 v7 cellphone. When I power up, the display turn on and turn off immediately. With the KSIE program, appears:

COMM_LoadBoots : selected phone family is 7
TTY_OpenCOMPort : opening COM1
COMM_IsBootRunning : bootcode does not seem to be running
COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
COMM_LoadBoots : phone is powered on
COMM_LoadBoots : internal loader version is 00.02
COMM_LoadBoots : original IMEI is 12345600123456
COMM_LoadBoots : flash IMEI is 35044610014024 (locked)
COMM_LoadBoots : found SIEMENS A50 lg1 v7 (1)
COMM_LoadBoots : flash ids are 008988C4 [00000000] - C489
COMM_LoadBoots : phone ids are EFF196AB [EFF196AB]
O.K.

Why the flash IMEI is locked? How can I unlock it?

The phone is OK now. I rebuild the bootcore with c55.exe software and flash it with an old version of firmware. The original IMEI is OK now, but the flash IMEI is still locked. Any idea to unlock it?

can i ask if the phone is working 100% ? as i have the same problem myself m8

Yes. The phone is working ok. You just neet to put the same IMEI in EEPROM like the IMEI of Flash. More instructions:

The free A50 Siemens ****er erases the bootcore from the phone, that's why it is
impossible to repair phone with SWUP. (The A50 architecture uses the CPU in
external boot mode.)
To solve the situation follow these steps:
-start the attached 55.exe program
-go to flashing, select r/w full flash chip, click on OPEN and load the attached
bootcore.bin file
-flash the phone (use testpoint); after 20000 bytes program will report an error.
-Your phone is now alive, but without language. To fix this, run any SWUP
(preferably not lower version than the original SW) and flash the phone.
Skip pre-check to avoid error message; for this operation no testpoint is needed.

But i don´t remember where i download the c55.exe file (A50 & C55 Wizard, version 3). Try in www.gsmstrasbourg.fr.st
