How to upgrate Siemens SL 45 to Siemens sl 45i

download fw56 for sl45i
upgrade your sl45 with that version.
Connect your sl to pc with data cabel.
Your phone must be off and battery must be FULL
Start up winswup with fw update (v56)
Check pre-check and post check boxes
Set up setting (COM port...)
Click ok.
Shortly click once or couple time "red phne button" (ON/OFF), and be carefull that phone DOESN'T switch on.
Now process will start. Wait for 15min, and that is it...

Now, you only have to start java activator for v56, do same thing like in upgrading (red button click), and it is over in few sec.
Now go to surf/fun option and see is there Java :)

U forgot to mention thah if he want's the battery indicator to still work he has so save the original blk settings, i don't remember how but he can search the forum for that. good luck
