My C25 v61 is still dead !!! :-( - GSM-Forum

Hi,

before a week I wrote a message I ask you for a help. But till now I didn't resolve my problem.

I have this problem. I try to unlock C25 v61 with this software: "C25/28(new) Service Software [SN:0001]" and "c2x_v61.x2u" file, but after that phone was dead. If I try flash new firmware, SWUP cannot contact the phone or received bad characters. But If I try use one more time this unlock software, than this software can contact phone and I see, that partial flash is erased and rewrited (phone blink as by flashing). After this phone is of course still dead. I write this only as example that it is possible to contact this dead phone through cable. Is some way to repair this phone? If you now some way, please hepl me and write me.

I received reply to try use SWUP 1.91 and flash v61, but it didn't worked.

With SWUP it do this:

SWUP 1.85

IGNITION = MANUAL == > you have to switch on mobile yourself manual trying to connect to mobile with Boot-Strap-Loader

after connection mobile invalid charakter received!

SWUP 1.91

trying to connect to mobile with Golg/HiGold-Boot-Strap-Loader
IGNITION = MANUAL == > you have to switch on the mobile yourself manual

after connecting mobile with Gold/HighGold invalid charakter received!

or sometimes it write this:

.the received character : 0h is not valid
.the received character :45h is not valid
.the received character :45h is not valid
.the received character : 0h is not valid
.the received character :2Ah is not valid
.the received character : 0h is not valid
.the received character : 0h is not valid
.the received character : 0h is not valid
.the received character : 0h is not valid
.the received character : 0h is not valid
...
Nothing else received

I had similar problem with M35i, the problem was low batery, but in this case is phone with full charged batery!

This is old problem (very old )many people said to all about this software !
But you study not on another's mistakes and on!
I much tried to make to solve this problem but t yet has not solved!
Is necessary eeprom repair!

Bootstrap is destroyed. You can´t fix it with swup.
