problem with flashing on notebook - GSM-Forum

my machine is COMPAQ PII 366
when i try to flash C35 or another with x35flasher program send request ok but when is in erase mode phone start flashing by light and program freeses. On PC no problem
any advice?

I also tried to use a notebook PII 266, and it didn´t worked.
Someone advise me that should be low RAM memory (only 64MB).

Today, for phones, I have a pc desktop just for it.
it´s 400mhz, but it as 352 Mb of Ram. with windows ME, and flashes, unlocks, repairs, etc... Ok

But for example my main PC is also desktop and it´s a P4 2.2G with 512Mb Ram, but I have XP on it, so, many mobile software doesn´t work.

So i guess that velocity, it´s not the problem, the problem it´s in Ram or in your Operating System.

the pc is wonderfull
check the cable or phone
may be ohone flash is bad

1 i have this problem on big speed - try to change speed to 56k for example

2- check the ethernet card drivers
3 and try to reinstall comport drivers
