Member: 52597 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 275 | I'm waiting for a clear idea on what to do after the test point. Should I run the full 14 mb flash, 2mb boot file, bootcore file, or eeprom flash ? Should I use freia 10. What option is to be selected; M55 or M55 boot ? Would appreciate further help |

Member: 52597 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 275 | I've never believed in cutting test points and have managed unlocking version 11s via the java patch. But I got the test point cut by a friend who's not an expert either. The result is the same, and I get the 'boot file not accepted message'. Still have the brief blue screen, buzz and then nothing. Do you thing there's been a bad test point cut ? How do I verify this..... Anyway, guys thanks for the inputs, thanks very much |

Member: 64449 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Yes bootfile not accepted means testpoint is not cut yet, but if you get phone not powered up it means bad testpoint cut. I have 12 a52 phones with a bad cut. ?The phones do not power up. This is really annoying. If you can do something without cutting but it takes more time. Do it without cutting. |

Member: 69540 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | you must write firmware & eeprom1 on your dead phone and unlock it again you dont need to cut test point because you unlocked it succesfully before read both of them from good phone with freia. 100% successful good luck |

Member: 1842681 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hello, Thank you for all your effort to sustain this forum. Please don't ignore my message because i could'n find any informations all over the internet for my problem because it's about a very old phone. It's about a siemens m55 bought in 2003. I was a kid and it marked my childhood, it fascinated me, it was the first phone from Romania to support mms and the second with camera. I perfectly remember that i applied a patch to expand the memory, it removed t9. I don't remember if i applied other patch than this. The phone worked well after the patch a long time and one day i remember that i took it from charging and it couldn't boot. The screen was turning on, a blue screen, and for a fraction of second the welcome screen appeared and then it was turning off with a buzz sound. I put it in a box and forgot about it, that was happening in 2004. A few days ago i found it and tried to turn it on, but same thing happened, screen powered on, a blue screen, i see for a fraction of second the message to insert the sim or welcome animation if i insert a sim, and then turned off with a buzz sound. Can you tell me please what can i do? I have the data cable but i don't have the Software tools. The first thing is that i don't want to completely rewrite fw to not loose the phonebook, pictures and sms from it. I have a lot of contacts, sms , pictures, notes from that time and it would be nice to review them after such a long time. How can i save them if i can't turn it on? Can i repair the firmware just to turn it on and save the dat from it, not complete rewrite? I remember that i was using a Software to read the eeprom without the need to turn on the phone. That happend 9 years ago i don't remember what software i was using to read/write/patch the eeprom and all the forums about this phone are closed. Thank you very much! |
