Please help me understand - GSM-Forum

I had a M55 v.10(Made in Germany).I put v.11.After that i tried to unlock.I patched bootcore(all went fine) and unlocked using Freia_M55_AMD following the steps i found in a tutorial.It seemed that it went fine but when I tried to power on the mobile but it won't start.With Freia I wrote the backup(eeprom,bootcore,flash) from v10.No result.
I sent it to service and got back a new phone made in China,v 11.But with it i can't even read the flash.I read a lot on the net and it seems to have a protection removable with px5amd.
My question is what can I do to unlock it.I found on this site numerous variations on the same operation.What is the best method to unlock and to be able to upgrade to v91 and apply patches?
Thank you in advance for all those who will have time to read and give me an answer(the more detailed the better 'cause i'm only a novice).

If you ever been beginners in an area you know how frustrating it is not to know the answers to your questions.Please give me a straight forward answer because i feel like in the babilon tower with all these options not knowing what to choose.

have u ever try vklay, i never found any problem with this (i never unlocking too, but heh

it's works) or perhaps it'll be better if u reflash with v91 fubu

I tell you what happened to me: Somebody came with m55 v11 to unlock. I loadet in the phone with siemens data suite the patcher px5amd , i start program patch bootcore, operation succesfull. Try to unlock with freia for m55v11 , all ok , again operation succesfull but the phone was dead. So i opened the phone made test point , write fubu 14M for v11 and voila. After this i unlock normaly the phone andd everithyng ok.

toen with this new bootcore(v11) the phone does not comunicate with vklay.This is why you patch it.In older phones(that came with<v10) the problem does not exist.I talked with a moderator on ym who was very polite and explained what to do.The right aplication is pm55amd not px55amd.The first one will not kill your phone.I search now Freia 18 to unlock my phone.

you need to write a good bootcore after apply midlet patching.

What is the safest way to write a good bootcore?I have the bootcore of a phone that came with v10.Is that good?
