S55 version 17 unlocking - GSM-Forum

tried using allsiemens and freia9 to unlock but no success, i get the message regarding boot core not being the right one.

i have a siemens S55 version 17

the settings I used for allsiemens was boot type= new phones (x5x)
for freia9, the boot type was bootcore bug
for both programs i chose the S55 phone settings

if anyone has unlocked a version 17 S55, please help me out.
the cable works fine for unlocking because I used it on the M55, c56, etc..

If not work you must cut the track

Did u use freia 9 162? I know that griffin can 100% do it

Freia can unlock v12 100% too!

yes yes don't cut track (i think about M55) . Solution is with T9 ball.

The cutting solution works too! But that is no the problem!! So why should he make testpoint?

no need to make testpoint to unlock this phone.S55 v 17 can be unlocked with same solution like M55 v11 (Paching with java aplication)

Maybe there is a midlet, but the bootcore isn't the problem!

That's not ur problem! Just post the LOG of freia and i can tell u what to do
