But I was not decided yet with plans on sequence expansion of platforms for this project. I think, that I shall be engaged most likely C55.

Unfortunately not for our phones (is for C45) and the best part not free.

I think that we could adapt it to SL45 and S45i but with permission and source code or at least some explanations.

Unfortunately, there is no time for all projects. Besides, at the minimum, it is necessary to have such device to which there is a desire to adapt. Now I try to understand which models are most perspective.
I think, that adaptation inside series (f.e. x45, x55) it is possible on a sample and similarity of existing patches even without source codes, simple replacement of addresses.

The information about Base Stations(BS) in SimPageFull undertakes from NetMonitor. In more detail about opportunities NetMonitor it is possible to read, for example, here http://web.quick.cz/s45/sm/.

There is an excellent example of use NetMonitor information for the purposes of localization by the example of Saint Petersburg in Russia. Enthusiasts collect the information about "bindings" BS and publish her on a site http://www.megafon.bcl.ru. Sorry, it is in Russian.

You can use system SimPageFull for localization of mobile objects by sending SMS. In the answer this system will give out SMS where will contain, except for the adjusting and operative information on a condition, the information about BS. Thus to within BS information it is possible to define a site of the terminal. Basically only for the purposes of localization even there is no necessity of connection to SimPageFull a security loop. It is enough to leave the cellular device in the automobile and you will know his site in coordinates BS.

Maybe it is better to create another thread for this subject. I have searched the net but could not find any useful or operational info about the employment of SL45 for this purpose. This forum is very exciting and patchers are very talent. I think the SL45 community here seems to have the potential to realize this project.
