@h3ctor
This is caused of integration into MainScreenPatches (MSP). The entrypoint of this patches cover almost everything. A way to get rid of this is to use EP of charlies "Show SMS Sender Number" (SSSN)...... but then SOL3 for example overlaps ALL patches which are called by this entrypoint.
A "better" solution imho is... read the messages and then, dial or write something.
_______________
3B3A54: DAC1EC22 DAC7F0D6 (entrypoint of MSP)
3B36E4: DAE000D0 (entrypoint of SSSN)

change to:
3B36E4: DAE000D0 DAC7F0D6
and undo
3B3A54: DAC1EC22 DAC7F0D6

this might help...

GoLL@B 06-05-2005 09:19

I tried this but when I installed this I lost my standard signal indicator and my animation was on only part of screen. :(

H3ct0R 06-05-2005 14:25

@cyberghost:
1. I've used this entrypoint: 0x3B3A54: DAC1EC22 DAC7F0D6, as I don't have SSSN and SNC applied.
2. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing a similar thing as GoLL@B - my BSI indicators vanished (only battery icon stayed on its place). Numbers still covered.
3. If that entrypoint had worked I would have been rather satisfied, as it would be better to uncover typed numbers in the first place.

And another thing (explanation): These errors might occur as I am using MSP (but not all of it) and SMS animated indicator together with riza's BSI. I had spent a lot of time readdressing all of them but I succeded (thanks to you and your earlier posts). Maybe it is not that simple only to change this entrypoint that you posted, in this case?

@GoLL@B: Do you use BSI too? ;)

GoLL@B 06-05-2005 16:38

No I don`t use it ;)

Froster 06-05-2005 20:22

Professors, I've got a different matter to solve. Could somebody help me find the routine and change the epioint responsible for viewing a number dialled in the "Calls Dialled" manu. Let's suppose that we've got FAV manu on the green button and we have Calls Dialled on the first place. We press right arrow to enter the menu and on the right arrow we've got "View". I would really like to change this "View" to for example "Choose" as after pressing the green button to make a call.
What do you think?

vBartek 06-09-2005 11:56

@charlielao:
Is small bug in *** Answering Machine while Incoming Call Ringing v2 ***:
Auto clear ANM after call has ended don't work when conversation will end in the course of playing am.vmo file.
Could you change this fragment? -> 444CC4: FAD414F3 FAC706D1
I tested it I but without effect.

k-mac 06-14-2005 20:31

misko903 06-14-2005 22:06

Is it possible to make miniGPS for S55? x65 got it..

lalo.lerry 06-14-2005 23:21

Eheheh... you have to ask it to S55 patchmasters :D

m2tk 06-16-2005 20:14

Two problems!

hi masters! maybe some of you know how to:

1. Disable PIN checking when phone is turning on. (i have old SIM card, and when i want to turn it off, message is written on the screen that "This card can't work without PIN!").
Any suggestions?

2. To change this patch so temperature is shown as '25 C' or even better '25°C'
Code:

; *** Show current temperature instead time ***

; Author: rc-flitzer www.gsm-modding.de

Another problem:
As you all know there is a patch:
Code:

;*** DRS. Different Ringtone for SMS status report ***
;Inny dzwiek dla SMSa i inny dla raportu.

;Firmware : SL45v56
;Author : rizapn
;Created : July 12, 2004
;Updated : July 13, 2004 - moved to the new address

;Make a different ringtone for normal SMS and the status report.

0x23022A: E6FC3500 DAC7A0FE

0x27FEA0: FFFFFFFFFFFF DADB3E19E6FC
0x27FEA6: FF 37 ; tone ID for Status Report (37=CB-tone)
0x27FEA7: FFFFFFFFFFFFFF 0048442D02E6FC
0x27FEAE: FF 35 ; tone ID for Normal SMS (35=SMS-tone)
0x27FEAF: FFFFFF 00DB00

in .asm
Code:

27FEA0: DA DB 3E 19 :        calls        0DBh, loc_DB193E
27FEA4: E6 FC 37 00 :        mov        r12, #37h
27FEA8: 48 44      :        cmp        r4, #4
27FEAA: 2D 02      :        jmpr        cc_Z, loc_27FEB0
27FEAC: E6 FC 35 00 :        mov        r12, #35h
27FEB0: DB 00      : loc_27FEB0:
27FEB0: DB 00      :        rets

#4 is for Status Report.
What number is for normal SMS?
And there is some SMS called Important SMS (received from GSM operator after calling on prepaid card, with calling time and price).
It sounds like normal SMS but it is flash SMS.
Any ideas for number of that one?

m2tk 07-28-2005 17:04

it's the same with sending FlashSMS (started with _space)

naransula 08-01-2005 08:59

@Charger : thanks for your patch fixing the problems of mamaich mp3 play patch :)

cyperghost 08-01-2005 20:23

@charger
Thanks for your latest patches. The battery patch works best....
I think there must be a "battery empty"-flag somewhere. Maybe we can reset it. This would prevent the phone from blinking battery status :)

Charger 08-02-2005 15:36

But you'll never see when your battery is discharged.
You can use this ep to stop indicator blinking and back to normal mode:
daa5eeff
Perhaps I make better version of the patch then I'll have more time

GoLL@B 08-06-2005 00:01

Which patch is responsible for this string?
40D2C4: or 40D2C0:

I got patch from naransula once...
Code:

40D2C4: DAC7E8E4 DAC79AD2 ; redirection

27D29A: FFFFFFFF DAC7E8E4 ; MP3
27D29E: FFFFFFFF DAC71EE6 ; Battery indicator
27D2A2: FFFF DB00

but this line is uncorrect: 40D2C4: DAC7E8E4 DAC79AD2 ; redirection
correct is: 40D2C4: FFFFFFFF DAC79AD2 ; redirection.

What must I apply ?

whyttt 08-14-2005 21:07

I'm a newbie. Have a patch which can create new groups in addressbook and I can assign any ringtone to these groups? Sorry for my English. Thanhks

@rc-flitzer
I just tested your "patched" USI3.1-Patch :) Works very good with profile dependent vibration - can you make also a profile dependent accustic signal? Beep and Silent - keep USI silent? Normal sound event let USI beep.

Thank you

@all
I reapplied some patches and created a new SMS Indicator on rc-flitzers Unread-SMS-Indicator. I attach all pictures and the patch-core here :)

The Indicator is placed directly over the softkey-buttons and all characters are in Siemens Style - so it "could" be a standard integrated function in all SLIKs :)
I designed two Indicators one is with a "fake" leading zero the annother one is left blank. Just look :)

In the picture "Button with leading zero" you'll see a 01 - the 0 is the leading zero and the 1 was just for testing the patch and arraning the numbers into right position. You don't have to remove the 01 if all works right the figures will be overwritten.

trustkill 09-20-2005 21:38

Nice to see that some people are still keeping the "scene" alive....

WhACK0 10-14-2005 07:06

Is there any way to combine these two patches, so you have both voicedial (longpress) and FAVm v.2 (shortpress) un up key?? - I tried to change the entrypoints but it didn't work....

-------------------------------------------------------------

How do I change "Answering Machine while Incoming Call Ringing" from right softkey to left??

-------------------------------------------------------------

Something different:
I can't use CLST3,BLR or SBT - the phone freezes, why??

Any help would be apreciated, thanx in advance

rc-flitzer 10-14-2005 09:48

SBT means "Softkey button text"?
Hm, all three patches are running well on my phone. Don't know what's wrong.
About FAV: no, I don't think there's a possibility because FAV is called immediately after short press and it has no meaning of calling voice dial if key is pressed longer. Try to use FAV on left or right key. Or on green key. Or red key. ;)
Or you can leave it on up key and use the volume+ key for voice dialling.

"Answering machine ..." on left instead of right key? Hm, maybe, but I don't have the patches here to look at the moment.

abomin 10-15-2005 18:11

Rst7 is author of this patch, I only relocate it...

cyperghost 10-16-2005 13:14

@abomin
Anyway - Thank you very much for relocation
Patch works very good.

Currently I use FAM3 and CDR2.3.... It should works much better than FAM2 (less crashes)

GoLL@B 10-16-2005 13:28

@all

One question, How does this patch (CDR 2.3 + FAM 3) work with SMS? And how does it work while mp3 playing?

@abomin

Thanks for your good work :)

cyperghost 10-16-2005 17:42

It works even if we play MP3. All events are recorded into files and can be evulated with lognavigator

GoLL@B 10-16-2005 18:19

Yes, but sms logging while mp3 playing was bad a little because sometimes the phone freezed. Is it correct?

cyperghost 10-16-2005 20:05

I don't know. I just tested once... and it worked

Xinshou 10-27-2005 04:46

Does anyone know how to use BFA 2.x with FTA? Both of these patches are changing the same adress in FW in thier own way, that makes one of them useless.
