Member: 59171 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | APPv3 have a small but annoying bug. I use phone without sim and patch "PWS. Phone Without SIM Card". When you check or uncheck any item and turn off the phone settings didnt save. With sim card all works corect. |

Member: 50673 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | @Pavel: Well, I think APPV3 is not buggy. I tink that all setting modifications aren't saved if you use PSW patch. Problem is that most eeprom datas are saved only once, in phone shutting off routine. Routine that is not executed if PSW patch is used. So... (almost) no possibility to correct this "bug". |

Member: 137411 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | I have not applied the patch "PWS. Phone Without SIM Card". So, my phone saves any settings either checking or unchecking any item after turning off the phone without Sim card. Without the PWS patch, I can still go to mainscreen display by pressing Conference call item (EP in FAV menu: 0161.DAF062). But, to select APP functions, I have to go to MMC directory and use APP in bin format (find it on the Chinese patches thread). |

Member: 50673 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | @all: thanks for wellcome in SL45 world! I really wanted to share this little joy with you @Rc: Yes, you have understood it right, phone was selled as damnaged. Well. I've already recieved his SL45, and only problem was fw v05(!) and wrong battery setting. Of course I've already bought a new not original battery, this one, even if it wasn't strictly necessary. Morover, I've bought also accessories, these ones and a MMC, this one (BTW, nobody knows if 2-4GB MMC works with SLIK?). So, now is a complete and prefectly working phone. BTW, exept my first S45, all other my 6 S-ME45 phones was bought as broken and brought back to life in this way. I couldn't let them dying BTW2: mp3 player is really really an hotshot, even slight better than S45 external one (and much much better than N70) Bye Lalo |

Member: 91303 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Guys, could you help me with this patch, because I think I got a bit rusty... I've got: Code: ;Functions of long pressing keys in SMS Editor ;by greenteas ;corrected version 0x3A7C3A: 48C53D0C FABF20BE 0x1FBE20: FFFFFFFFFFFF 46FC24003D02;down arrow 0x1FBE26: FFFFFFFF DADB50EF ;Kalendarz 0x1FBE2A: FFFFFFFFFFFF 46FC26003D07;right arrow 0x1FBE30: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF 8890888026F00800DADA8A87DB00;quit without saving 0x1FBE3E: FFFFFFFFFFFF 46FC27003D02;left arrow 0x1FBE44: FFFFFFFF DAC024AF ;illumination 0x1FBE48: FFFFFFFFFFFF 46FC25003D02;up arrow 0x1FBE4E: FFFFFFFF DADB7CEF ;Kalkulator 0x1FBE52: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF 48C53D02FADA3E7CFADA567CFFFF I tried to do it but when I readdressed all the bytes to "proper" addresses and tried to press long left arrow the phone turned off. WHY? And one more thing Maybe you know the e-point for saving currently written sms to sim. As you probably know I'm a bit lazy and I would like to spare my finger these couple of presses |

Member: 60520 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Without testing possibility I think you don't need to readdress but only change the key values. Each line beginning with 46FC tests for a special key pressed. Now I just swapped the key codes for left and right arrow as following: Code: 0x1FBE2A: FFFFFFFFFFFF 46FC27003D07 ;left arrow 0x1FBE3E: FFFFFFFFFFFF 46FC26003D02 ;right arrow |

Member: 91303 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I have another question. How can we finetune this patch to our needs? Functions of Side keys (+/-) in SMS editor. Modified by Wise2008 Ported to SL45v56 by GoLL@B 0x3A7BDC: 46FE2F00 FABF6070 0x1F7030: FFFF 46FE 0x1F7032: FF 0D ;"-" key 0x1F7033: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF 002D0446FE2F00FADAE07BE6FC 0x1F7040: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF E835E6FD0E00E6FEB400E0 0x1F704b: FF 5F ;5F:save SMS, 3F:send immediately 0x1F704C: FFFFFFFF DAC188AB 0x1F7050: FFFFFFFF FADA507C 0x1F7060: FFFF 46FE 0x1F7062: FF 0e ;"+"key 0x1F7063: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF 002D04FABF3070FADAE07BE6FC 0x1F7070: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF E835E6FD0E00E6FEB400E0 0x1F707b: FF 3F ;3F:send immediately (or 4F), 5F:save SMS 0x1F707c: FFFFFFFF DAC188AB 0x1F7080: FFFFFFFF FADA507C I would like to get rid of "sending" option and keep "save". Instead of sending I would like to put there Illumination - just as in the patch of "long press arrow in sms editor". Can that be done? |

Member: 70080 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | about uni2: need setup OFV, more exactly part Code: ;Prevent phone from a crash: ;This fix allows you to write patches that disable interrupts for a very ;long period of time. Of cause you should also use T3/P4.1 trick to serve WDT. ;Additionally this patch fixes several traps that occure after applying ;some other patches (like the phone switching off in "Prnce of Persia"). ;You should not commend these lines as they would cause no harm when the ;firmware operates in a normal way (the patched code is never executed). 00241FE4: 8D24 CC00 00241FF2: 9D20 CC00 00242006: 9D19 CC00 0024200C: 8D16 CC00 00241F28: 9D1E CC00 00241F44: 9D13 CC00 0020C20A: ED07 CC00 0022B9DA: 3D03 0D03 0022D116: ED03 0D03 002B0A9E: 9BFE CC00 00215E12: E64734B79BFE E0FCC4C09203 002DCA7E: EA3030CB EA0030CB 002B0BF4: 9BFE CC00 |
