7610 Startup Code?

Hi,

While on a skiing trip two weeks ago a friend found a Nokia 7610 lying in the snow. It appears to work, but when you power it up, it asks for a code. I believe you can input maximum 10 digits.

Has anyone got any idea what this code is and how I can unlock it?

Thanks, Devil_H@ck

Well if the code is on the sim it will be the pin number and you only get 3 trys before you need a puk code so try a different sim in it. If it still askes for a code then its the security code and basically your screwed if you dont know it Not to mention the fact that its obviously been lost so will more than likely have been reported as lost and barred anyway.

It's not a pin code, I changed sim and it keeps asking for this code. I believe it is indeed the security code. Is there any way to crack it or bypass it?

In a word no not that you can do yourself anyway take it to a phone shop and see if they can reset it for you. But as it is probably barred anyway theres no point you will just be wasting your money.

then if you can get the code reset it should work in your country, as long long as it was not registered in belgium to begin with, so maybe worth your while to get code removed, anyone who can unlock can reset code
