u can do that with an old 5110

just short pins out on the bottom connecters ( so unit thinks there is a handsfree plugged in) and change profile to headset with auto answer on. remove elastomer from handset so there is nothing on screen even though phone is on.


u can probably pick up an old 5110 for 10 20 quid.

Nokia 6xxx with "bond trick" (connect 2 connectors on the bottom with a clip or even just wire and tape to enable the headset profile (autopickup option)) and a mic replaced by hypersensitive non-boom style mic - Now THAT really works :)
