D500 "limited service" problem - GSM-Forum

Just wondering if anyone knows why my D500 is saying "limited service" ive tried to different sims on 2 networks. Is there anyway around this problem. Cheers

hello have you just bought the phone as it sounds like its been reported stolen and is now been barred by the networks. to get round this you can change the imei (a crime in some countrys) useing software called winimei and a serial cable.

ah right cheers. Where can i get hold of a cable? Also i have downloaded the software, but it asks for a password, so where do i get that from. Cheers

you the search button, what you have asked, as said, has been answered 100's of times. your phone has been stolen or reported lost, hence barred.

you need the cracked patch for it. I WILL GET MY SPOONS AND NAPPYS OUT AND HELP YOU (only jokeing) first off all put the winimei in program files give it a name. now this is the tricky bit when you have the cracked patch you need to open these 3 files and copy them in same folder that you have PUT winimei into DO NOT OPEN ORIGNAL D500 ONLY CRACKED COPY OR IT WILL CRASH. I ASSUME YOU KNOW HOW TO GET YOUR BLUETOOTH ADDRESS.

If the Search Button Cant Help,then you are not only newbies here but in this business too.Then that Dangerous, Trust me.I compare it to a Suicide.

Just make a search named (D500 limited service).
