Samsung Jet Use in Canada (Fido)

Does anyone use 3G in Canada at all? I’m curious because GSMARENA.com (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_s8000_jet-2835.php )says that the Jet is available with HSDPA 850/1900 (which means it could be used in Canada on the Fido/Rogers network) but I’m not sure if the 850/1900 is a separate model or if it’s something that ‘s just user selectable.

Any info that have regarding this would be appreciated – I’m interested in one especially for the price!
