nokia 2280 convert from CDMA to GSM?


how do u convert Nokia 2280 from CDMA 2000x to GSM and make it accept any sim..pls help.

Agreed!!

Absolutely impossible.

You could re-use a few parts, but you would need to replace almost all the internals. The cost of the parts would be much more than the cost of a new phone.

The RH-17 is available as either CDMA 800 and AMPS or CDMA 800 only, depending on model. It supports the new CDMA 1XRTT standard air interface.

Than what is this RUIM card slot at the back of the phone, U mean that slot is not for a SIM card

BUT IT IS POSSIBLE.
I HAVE SEEN THIS SET WITH SIM CARD. I TESTED INCOMING AND OUTGOING. BUT MOBITEL IS NOT WORKING.

I wonder when this stupid rumor will die in India.....somehow i feel ashamed to know that there are still people who do not know the ABC of cellphone technology and claim to be repaires of cell phones of all kind.....

Had they known the difference between GSM and CDMA technology they would have never dared to ask such stupid question........
