Soft don't open - GSM-Forum

I just registered my UST PRO2 and activated account, downloaded drivers as it was in manuals, unpacked and started soft UST2_105b.

I got Connecting box... English... OK... then it shows user agreement for 3 seconds and dissapear...

What could be wrong here?

Any idea?

check the comports setting in hardware properties
they shud be between 1 to 12

I can't use my UST PRO2 box... because soft doesn't open...

Change Regional Settings to "English (United States)" in control panel and all will be ok!

Are you going to fix that problem? For me even with regional settings set to "English (US)" software won't start. For ***'s sake, that error exists since 1.05. It was introduced few months ago, reported a lot of times and still not fixed? In current state that software+hardware is rather unusable, old and unsupported for me.

me too, changed to engl(us),but still same problem, software 105 and110 can't open, only 102 open witouth probl......forget to tell mu ust is on com 8 .......

It still doesn't work for me. I've changed both settings and still soft refure to start. Besides, it's not a solution, it's just a temporary (i hope so) workaroud and i don't really see the problem in fixing it especially that first few version worked fine.

Actually you should only set option from second image and that should help, but you'll see one problem. You won't see any of your national specific letter in software which doesn't use unicode. It looks horrible then and that's why it can't be used!
