Apparantly, it is possible to enable a function on Nokia phones to detect police radars. Does anyone if this is true, if so how do you do it.

Do u think that Nokia have done a chip in u phones that u can use like police radar. If u want a police radar u have not use ur phone!!

Sorry Zizo You Are wrong my friend

There is a way supposedly to make your phone into a radar detector but will only work on certain phones the phone must have infra red on it and what you do is goto menu "closed user groups" and type 4-5 zeros then you will get a flashing radar on your screen this is undocumented and is dubious wheather it really works.

um that flashing "radar on yer screen"
is actualy a group logo... you will notice you are able to programme groups on phones so that a caller can only dial a certain group of numbers, or for conference calls ...
by typing the 0's u are assigning a group number to identify the group, thats it

as for police radars, they dont use short distance class lazers on thier equipment, neither cellular protocol,
