Member: 30192 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | windows xp home permissions is there any way on windows xp home to prohibit users installing applications without changing their account to a limited account? some way to change in the registry? maybe some source code avaiable? or maybe something already done on the net? please help me or maybe even prevent people running MSI installers or everyfiles named setup.exe or install.exe? something like that the problem in changing to a limited account is that a important program at work will stop running. it must have administrative privileges. but i dont want to allow users installing applications. waiting for the answeres of YOU experts best regards, Crux |
