Hi,

Please give full detail about motherboard (what exactly model).
Also you can solve your problem by put an external USB HUB and plug the dongle in this HUB (not directly in motherboard USB ports).
Seems the problem is with Nvidia chipset (USB part from motherboard) but I cannot identify exactly.

Best regards,
Zulea

Read this tread...

http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=244247

Not "Da Solution" but some help to get it to work anyway. Im 100% sure that this is AMD incompatible thing, not the dongle, qousse Ive tested that pice over and over on MANY computers, not ONE error on pure Intel machines, but a lot on AMD... that says a lot... So please you all who ask "Da Man" ... READ and SEARCH and stop ask Z about this, "Da Masterpice" works 100%...

Hi,

Seems there is some other problems on AMD64 and USB support.
Just read this from another sources:

http://forum.abit-usa.com/showthread.php?t=97686
http://www.misticriver.net/archive/i...hp/t-7623.html
http://forum.abit-usa.com/archive/in...p/t-88429.html
http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/linux/linu...3-00/0653.html

And from the last link (who is related to Linux systems) seems the problem is somwhere in hardware related to AMD with NVIDIA chipset over USB.

So, I will try to solve this problem but harddly I feel this is not in my hands (how to solve this). Better start cry at AMD / NVIDIA manufacturers (and ask yourself why Intel based PC's are more expensive).

So, current solution of the problems on AMD64 with NVIDIA motherboard chipset is:
Buy and install one PCI USB card.
This kind of USB card can be find in almost any good/big computer shop and costs is 10-20$.

Best regards,
Zulea
