Need help with 8380 patch unlock - GSM-Forum

I need help with unlocking 8380 via patch as i have never got my head arround TP

Do i need to download patch or is is built in LG software.....what do i do exactly to unlock LG 8380 via patch??????

Hi.

You have just download patched files from support area and flash the phone.

Search in many threads on the forum about this for another question.

There does not seem to be any patched files on support...just the five flash files for flashing??......where would i look for them?

you do not need patch files to unlock, its direct it will unlock the fone directly by reading the patch and doing everything it self

Thankyou very much fore your response..........one question....do i simply choose 8380 (not the one with tp next to it) AND PRESS UNLOCK???

If you have problem, flash for example with this files:

U8380_V10B_Italy_DRIVEC.zip 5.353 MB 10/08/05 15:04:11
U8380_V10B_Italy_DRIVEMEDIA.zip 2.293 MB 10/08/05 15:04:17

U8380_V10B_Italy_PHONE.zip 7.612 MB 10/08/05 15:04:36

And after use Lg3gtool v2.7 with the option "unlock all network lock" (this is the only operations do you make for direct lock if your phone is ok with the formware)

Also, for use the testpoint, please select your model and TP to flash or unlock

YES, with marked "unlock all network lock"

The patched files is ready from many times with setool and furious, etc.. Now, with this and other tool (lick usb smart, vygis etc... you can use direct unlock)

For this direct unlock solution via usb smart do i need to use TP

If Your phone is ok just make Fast-Unlock ( "Unlock All Network Codes" )
else flash original firmware ( as Your choice ) from Support, then unlock

there is five files to flash only for option for four files in software where do you load the extra flash
phone will go to phone
driveC will go to DriveC
drivemedia is also straight forward
where do you load files FLEXREC & DRIVEREC cos only fs is empty?

No matter files order, files already have their respective mem-location build in, flash in 2 times

Phone unlocked ok, but big screen goes black after 2-3 seconds then you have to remove battery to restart. What to do? Its a 8380.
