Z series and serial port


Hi

Ok, so i have some USB cables for Z500 for example..

But how to select USB in samsung tool ? Will the phone be seen as a serial port when connected to the usb cable ?

go to control panel,system and look for modem under the modem you will find samsung cdma modem,click the properties and port setting.whatever port setting assigned ex. com 15 so you have to choose com 15 on samsung tools,hope it helps.
note:you have to install first the driver
if you dont have usb samsung tools,free soft by movilcom will do for some z series 100%.
And for me the best way to connect is put the phone in testmode(*#123580#)

I dont have the drivers but i have paid for samsung tool..

Where to find the drivers ?

Thanks for your help, i will try putting phone into test mode first...But i need a phone to test it on :-)
