Where did my thread go?

OK, So someone from usb-smart is visiting this section because they have deleted my post where I suggested we start our own support web site, and where others have uploaded flash files for others to download.

Obviously that person does not want to provide us with the support for this product any more, but I will continue to collect flash files and create a download area until such time we all get answers.

If the person who removed the thread would like to pm me and tell me why the thread was removed then I would welcome that. But better still, they should post here what is going on with the support for usb-smart so we can all stop getting 20+ emails per day from end users asking what the fcuk is going on.

yes i agree posts are being deleted by usb team or affiliates connected with them.
It is unfair that zulea or any product developer use this GSM CITY website to sell his product then decide to end this and screw all usb owners.
There should be a 'administration ' team that should take over USB support site and be allowed to operate this for users who desperatley need flash files etc.
This is apsolutley unacceptable in this day and age to dump product users in the black... its unfair for the resellers and users.
z frank should ban any USB SMART affiliate from deleting or modifying any posts.

I agree someone from the USBSmart team is editing/deleting posts
Its not against forum rules that I know of to post links?
So it must be Admin or Support who are deleting.
Maybe someone from Admin or Someone with privilages can check and tell us who is deleting the posts as we have had this problem before and a log is kept of deleted/edited posts.

I agree its now a good idea to protect the users, as the developer has decided to give up the project he has given up his right to have access to this area and it should be protected for the users so we can now try to pick up some pieces and get a little from it.

Regards
Charlie

PS: Zulua have a long and happy retirement, but I will not say you deserve it, leaving is one thing but shutting down the server and removing all files is unforgivable, it would have been a small expense to keep the server running for 2 months but this would have left you with a good name not a bad taste every time your name is mentioned.

I totally agree with charly, I have had at least 4 posts deleted in the past 3-4 days with no explaination, all I was doing is giving links to SE flash files & a little support which Zulea has taken away from all of us.

As I have already asked, whoever you are, please come forward, stop hiding & explain why you are deleting posts.

Yes mate I tend to agree that its one of these two as Zulea really has no reason to stoop so low.

I have reported this to Admin to have a look at and I know Zfrank and AboAli, Winner58, and Wazl are all fair and honest Admins so we should get some answers on this hopefully.

Charlie

As no such policy exist to protect people in this business , all the administrators and owners of this and other websites should take 'zuleas example to cease access to the support area as malicious and take this is a warning that in the future no other product developer repeats the same malicious act .
end user intrests should be protected and reserve the right to complain on the former website where support was originaly allocated .when all support links with the product developers no longer exist ,product supporters should be disqualified from having any rights.

I dont mean to be rude to you Kevbodian but its not about economics mate its about support, Flash files on the server that most people have not got and have no access to and may have only had access for a week or less.

So if you want to get your post count up go to "Off Topic" zone there you can talk "BOLLOX" which is what you seem to talk most of the time anyway.

Best regards
Charly

Yep posts are being deleted.....I subscribed to a number of threads concerning usb smart that disappeared, this is about support not making money back...if we had known that the support was finite we would of d/l the whole f****** support area before it closed......but in all fairness despite all the sniping Kevbodian has indulged in he made a good point... you can get a Twister access dongle for £15.99 which allows access to the usb smart files.

I have access to the JAF server which I believe is the same as Twister server with these files on it but there are not that many files in there to justify £15.99, (EG There are no files for W810i) unless there are different files on the Twister support server maybe you can look and let us know .

If Raskal is hosting all the files for USBSmart then for some it will be worth £15.99 but it would be nice to know before being dissapointed.

Blagged a twister access dongle...Hurrah! D/L the drivers and software ..Hurrah x 2 ...Hit the support button, browser opens!!! got as far as "Logging in wait a few minutes"....waited..waited...site died...Booo x 1000. I shall persevere, Thank the cringe this stuff is not a way of making money for me or I would be sorely miffed.
P.S. I will sort out all the usb smart files I have and post the list, if everyone does the same we can create an index, upload to rapidshare or whatever and make sure the are no duplicates? Just a thought until something more concrete comes along.

Well I got in......it all seems to be there!!!! The server must of been under load....I don't have a list of what was on the old support server but from cursory examination it looks the same....anybody got a list of what the old support had on it? So I can compare.
