ok you need to make GSM model into wifi only by useing the remove resisitor bypass method and turning it to wifi only model then you can use the adaptor. by the way on ipad 234 adaptor you can use old model ipad 2 on the adaptor by removing the left blue knob and useing a dremel to cut a piece on the metal on the left hand side so the old ipad 2 will fit
