I've been hearing about this flasher box thing (Nokia BB5 flasher box, Cyclone box, etc.) - and I wonder what part of a mobile phone/cellular phone does it access and what it does with it (the phone's part that it accesses...)

Pardon me but I'm new to cellphone repair and stuff - my Alcatel phone went dead and I've been looking for ways to bring it back from the dead from this forum site.

I know I should be buying tools and stuff from you guys and not bother asking about such stuff but for the sake of curiousity, would you mind telling how that device works?

search what boxes support your model?(both flashing/upgrading, unlocking)

why you talk about bb5 if you have an alcatel phone???
