Question tools for workshop?


hi everybody
i want to buy new tools to my workshop so pls tell me the name of these tools and the companies name.

need heat gun
rework station
microscope
any other professional tools for hardware repairing

are you planning on opening a professional center ? only if you have big contracts or very expensive equipment to repair , expensive tools are worth buying .

think for the time it takes to recover the money you invested in the tools.

we work 10 hours a day from household electronics to medical gear , and we use china cheap tools , or many of them are DIY by me .....

when you start making money to invest in new and better tools only then you buy more expensive ....

i have a 1-20V 8A power supply made with a UPS transformer , lm317 and power transistors , analog vu-meter for amps and digital voltmeter for volts ...

lcd esr-tester made with atmel,

audio signal injector and receptor made with a 1w amp module and a 2 transistor signal generator ....

I2c and microwire eeprom programmer made fom pony prog website (very simple circuit ...)

and many more .... it depends on what you need . google is full of schematics and tutorials ...

an osciloscope it's a very powerfull tool, but you really need to know how to use it . where to test and what you should see on the screen

can i use pc sound card as oscilloscope??

yes you can , but the soundcard limit's the working frequency to 20khz. there's a lot of stuff that work's over 20khz. it's a *** learning project , to understand the principles of an oscilloscope. take care with the input voltage to the sound card . google is full of info .
