hi

works,
I measured the voltages and 4 volt on e2p and mcu,
problem was pin3 (WR) of 25020 was grounded making impossible update,
I bend the leg and wired to vcc, then it updated at first try,

after update dongle was 5 digit 4xxxx R&D, wintesla and phoenix didnīt find dongle so I guess R&D dongle must be 6 digit 2xxxxx,
when turned back to Regular PKD-1 worked again,

Zulea, could you add 6 digit 2xxxxx change to the tool please?

best regards
Invisible

@Ionel: I have a spare DK2 with mcu removed, Asic is Des2 so just burning mcu with Saras hex and reprograming 25020 can be turned to PKD-1 (if skill enought), for exchange, contact me if interested

this is only because zulea's tool obviously changes not only the 9 relevant bytes to enable R&D functions, but serial number and down counter, too.

why not just sniff 6 character password from lpt port and use dk2app.exe from deskey?

Saras hex only works with Des2 Asic, this is why old DK2 is needed,
if you wanna use Des3 Asic you need other hex which is not public

that's because des2asic and des3asic use different algorithm to crypt eeprom -therefor you need different firmware in motorola mcu

if the nine bytes are correct, you can have any serial number you want, 5 digit, 6 digit..

offcourse, basicaly it uses the dk2 api and uses the dk2readmemory/dk2writememory to tweak few bytes at pkd/fls, anyway I still have few doubts,
if anyone have wide knowdledge about pkd/fls please contact me to finish the tool

best regards
