LG 3G unlocker, cable fault? - GSM-Forum

Hi all,

Been given an 8110 to unlock. Connecte everything up, press unlock on software, software says "waiting for commands" and does nothing. When I close program it changes breifyl to "reading phone info OK" and progress goes to 1% then program exits.

Have I got a crap cable?

The box is fine as it works OK for Panasonic X60, VJ207 etc (update for VK503 soon??).

Sounds like cable fault is it original or one with box? Need modified cable for unlocking 81xx.

VK503 already supported just use VK207i software

I strongly suggest to use FuriouS Multi for LG 3G series ...

Hi

When I use 3gMulti software to unlock Lg8110/8120 (any version), it starts Ok, reads IMEI OK and then says unlocking but then 'error !' . What can be the problem?.

I think the problem is the loader version of the phone.
in this moment nothing to do for new version of the loader.

Why is it with all versions, problem is not only new ones. Quit hounestley ever since I got Feurious last year, it has never worked for me on LG3G phones, always 'error' when unlocking but I have alternative Box so I used that to unlock most of LG's. Now that furious has done a lot of good work to make it what multi software is today, I would like to get it working.

Any suggestions please furious support team ?.

Your the only one that had problems... Practically is strange beacuse we all use same loader, we all use same procedures

Thanks my friend. It looks like problem is at my end, so I will dig deep and see what is causing the problem. I don't think its cable beacuse that works with other software.

Error ...

Tried on 2 different computers. I have tried to unlock LG8120 V101 and V105 (not sure if V105 is supported) but always same error. Even when I try to Lock to network I get same problem.

I know you said its working for everybody else, which I am sure it is, but can you please try to suggest something for me so that I can start using the software, as I feel left out at moment

I spent in one experience of this: LG8120 v101, very simple to unlock....
I've thinked!!!

Furious, babe, Total3g, MultiS, - - - - NADA!

Error

Try to read NCK, Error...
I've read other, on Lg forum also, we talk of firmware not v101 (another)
This phon isn't possible to flash also because the LOADER give error,
Boh.... We wait furious team fo real upgrade..

same problem with LG8130 but i have unlocked 3 pcs after and no problem
is it because of loader in phone?
