Member: 149590 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hello guys. I'n new in the forum, it's nice to post here. I've got a Samsung V200 and its USB cable. It fits my wife's VK530 port, as the power supply does. Any chance that the same USB cable could be used to unlock the VK using the indicated procedure? Thanks for any help! |

Member: 353857 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Has anyone got this to work with a USB cable? Or does it have to be a serial cable? I'm not having any luck with a USB cable. This is what I'm doing: Phone is a VK530 locked to Vodafone Phone on with active Vodafone SIM card inserted USB cable configured in XP device manager as virtual COM2 Start FuriousDongle VK207i Voda program Select COM02 Click "Reset SimLock" Program says "Connecting to device. Wait ..." then about 8 seconds later, "done" [Nothing happens on the phone screen] Switch off phone Insert Orange SIM card Switch on - "Wrong card" I have also tried COM1, COM3, COM4, and COM10. Same deal. Am I doing something wrong, or is it the USB cable? |
