LG KU990 Unlock - Possible Driver Problem - GSM-Forum

Hello, i have polar box 2 and im trying to unlock KU990, but the phone will not connect to the box, i think i have driver problems, however other LG's work fine. Does anybody know where i can download the drivers for LG KU990. Thanx.

go to support polarbox - user usb cable

i have done this already, only drivers i can see up there are the LG3G drivers: do these have drivers for KU990?

Yes. Ku990 is 3G LG

. and the Driver in support is up to date.
Check com port after installation. make sure is Below com10

.
if not reconfigure ur com port to a port less than 10.

Ok downloaded drivers and installed them, selected com less than 10, but polar still says: error phone not unlocked. Dont understand why its not working.

That version is not yet supported by Polar box2. it must be v10a.
Mate, eneble to post nest time with logs to ensure quick understanding of ur problem.

there is no log to display thats why its pointless me trying to copy and paste the log. The software version is V10h probably not supported then, although i would have thought that the polar box would at least connect and read the phone, if not unlock it. Thanx anyway.

thats what i thought, it reads the ke970 no problem and unlocks it, but the ku990, refuses to connect, ive double checked all connections, usb data cable, drivers, port no. im very confused as to why it will not read ku990 phones, i have tried 3 different ones on different networks.

remove any box / dongle from computer (also polar box)
install phone cable and connect it to phone
now connect polar box and run soft
try to unlock

then

ERROR Phone not unlocked. Have tried to conect through another usb port on the laptop and through the usb on the polar box.

Both times nothing.

-connect phone to usb port on pc.
-go to device manager and uninstall port.
-reboot pc.
-rerun ur Lg 3G driver package.
-connect phone to pc usb port and install drivers.
-connect box and run unlock.
