Flashing my K850I from Rogers
 

I have a K850i from rogers in canada.

It's unlocked and I had it flashed and the person flashed it with Central Europe files. I have been having problems with the phone ever since and I need to flash it with the new rogers firmware i found which still allows the phone to be debranded but unlocks all features of the phone and settings including secret menus.

I bought a credit with paypal, got my login info, connected phone and read info, started loading loaders but then it stops and says

*Top Sony File Format detected

What the heck do I do now ? LOL :confused:

You can only flash using Kulankendi files, not Top Sony files

If you flash to Rogers firmware it will not be unbranded. You need to flash to this firmware "K850i_R1EA037_MAIN_GENERIC_SO_CID52".

Regarding the Top Sony issue, like the poster above said, you can only flash kulan kendi files. Top Sony isn't supported

As last poster said, you cannot flash with a "branded" flash file and have an "unbranded" phone?? :D
