Huawei e960 - how to enter code
 

Can anyone from kulansupport tell me how to enter code manually in huawei e960?
Kulankendi server read code from card but there was an error when writing it. Please have a look at screenshot.....if anyone can help it would be great!

it can mean 2 things:

1. cmd to enter code may be different
2. unlock counter is blocked(10 tries)

huawei unlock cmd is: AT^CARDLOCK="here code"
but it looks that cmd is ok because while read info KK check if cmd is correct

Hello Kulankendi support......this is another case of huawei e960 unlock where the software ( User: mcclg0138 ) was used to unlock another modem.....

I tried to input the unlock code directly in the router administration web page (in 192.168.1.1), but it says the unlock code is incorrect.

I tried your solution with Hyperterminal, but when i put your code AT^CARDLOCK="37287889" the program return an ERROR, and the modem is locked.

If i try to read info with your program, the card status say "unlocked" but the modem is locked.

P.S.: the connection with modem in hyperterminal is OK because if I put an "AT" command the modem responds "OK", but the problem is with the unlock command.

What can i do to unlock my modem?

U960 was never tested and also never confirmed as supported(web page etc) so this need closer look at this problem. I'll check it soon as possible
