Two CDA versions showning, CDA not changed?

Hello,

I've just used KKclient & a credit to change the CDA on my M600i. The process seemed to work, with the following change showing in the KK client log.

From======
**** Creation Date: 26/03/07 ; Time: 3:09:07 PM ***
> Client Ver: 1.49
> User:inf1205
> User Data Window:
...
CDA: CDA162016/62 R5A01
PDA: CXC162037 R9EC001
Bluetooth Firmware: CXC162071 R5B02
Phone Firmware: CXC162098 R5A01

To======
**** Creation Date: 26/03/07 ; Time: 3:18:08 PM ***
> Client Ver: 1.49
> User:inf1205
> User Data Window:
...
CDA: CDA102511/2 R5A01
PDA: CXC162037 R9EC001
Bluetooth Firmware: CXC162071 R5B02
Phone Firmware: CXC162098 R5A01

But when I went to use SEUS, to bring to the latest de-branded version, it says "All up to date or No updates available" (can't remember exact message).

Then when I check my phone there are 2 entries under CDA
CDA: CDA102511/2 R5A01 ...and
CDA: CDA162016/62 R5A01

Not sure what happened, phone still works, but I still have original Vodafone branded s/w?
(Looks like 2 firmwares present or something?)

Is there something important that I forgot to do?

Thanks,

asked - answered xxx times so it means I lose my time xxx-1 times....
Two CDA is normal,SEUS says that U have latest firmware version coz U have latest version. Did there is button "continue anyway"? if yes then click on it and SEUS will again flash UR phone.
U have no 2 firmwares in the phone, as U know U didn't flash UR phone
CDA is a number by what phone firmware is identified,is not a firmware itself.

Thank-you, BUT...

I've just re-done this to check, but there is certainly no 'Continue anyway' option in the current version of SEUS. The Help says it's version 2.7.3.10.

The message is 'No available update - Your phone already has the latest release software installed.'

The only option is Exit.

Anyone know any way around this?

hmm that's a SEUS lottery... for some phones it allow to "continue anyway" for PDA looks like not... I'll think about any way but it can be problem with (c) rights...

Here's my screenshot of the same thing?

Thanks, my screenshot is attached.

I downloaded the SEUS version Update_Service_Setup-2.6.11.7.exe from the SonyEricsson Australian support site.

Do you have a different version, and Can you post or put it somewhere so that I can try it?

It does seem to check for updates of itself, and I'm not sure why the Help version number is different from the Install version number, but anyway...

Ahh. I realise now my mistake. I didn't enter a correct CDA code.
(thanks treza for the clue)

I've purchased another credit and will try again.
Is there any issue with KK doing this a second time?

thanks,

Thanks for your help. Worked this time. (I nearly gave up...)

For anyone else looking to de-brand a M600i, have a look at these instructions...

SEUS version

Can I get the 2.7.3.10 version as well? I don't want to take any chances and use 2.6.11.7 in case anything goes wrong. Do PM me for a link, thank you
