M610 unlock, use E210 cable and select X550,
remember only use the RJ45 not plug the USB part of the Combo cable for making this model,

Yes! I did everything as you say, but with X550 not have connected phone, with E250 phone is connected, but can not pass security MSL. This is bug!!!

I have tested 5 phones, always same thing!
What is it?

how to unlock, please post screen shot our other info about this, then we able to solved your problem

possible reasons:
your phone ON, you are try to unlock
your cable is not good (check cable)
your phone jack is not good (check phone Jack)

remove cable from phone, after press job(unlock)
then connect cable and press power button from phone,

PS: where is screen shot ???

try to full eeprom reset and then try maybe help, *2767*3855#

I had alot of similar problem, the solution was always the comp port, try to change the com port before any other thing, if not working post screen sh to the supporter and he will solve the problem.
