Looked at that "GPU XBOXLIVE" video again.
It is an old xbox 1, surely not a 360.
The chip is an nvidia, which was on the old xbox, 360 is ATI gpu.
See also the IDE connector in front.
Xbox 1 was IDE, Xbox 360 is sata.

Regards.

Though this isn't a Jovy RE-7500 video, if we watch closely, we can learn something about re-balling the 360 from this video. The machine used in the video is far, far more expensive than the RE-7500, but still we can get some hints by watching the video. The language is Brazilian Portuguese, but the words are not important for someone who has re balled ICs before. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQean...eature=related

If the link doesn't work, its called "Reballing x box 360". Another well made video is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndeq6cAA8MY&NR=1 . Its called "Xbox 360 BGA Reflow". The second video gives you a way of doing it with a hot air gun and an electric heater as a griddle. This isn't really recommended, but its certainly better than the hotgun fixes.

Note to all who read this thread: the xclamp fixes, the rubber (eraser) fixes, the penny fix, the towel fix, etc are useless to get the 360 to work for long term. They are only temporary. The only proper fix is to reflow the GPU and CPU and if need be; reball them. Reballing might be needed only in some cases.
