Member: 1882599 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Jetronix Eco Thought I'd post about this station that no one seems to have discussed here. This station is by jovy but it differs from their other three models (RE-8500, RE-7500 and RE-7550) in that this one uses cheaper IR plates for both top and bottom. It's made to compete in the market with the IR-Pro-SC reworks stations. This is a very decent machine for people looking to spend less than $1200 and be able to do game consoles, laptops and other motherboards, even big play station boards. I had one here for about 6 months and was very pleased with it until somebody wanted me to sell it to him and I did then bought the re-8500. There is a good thread here: Jovy Jetronix Eco IR BGA Rework Station I tried to add pictures but I'm having errors for some reason. |

Member: 1882599 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | I got this other guy who was fixing game consoles with a heat gun and he contacted me asking me a bunch of questions. We got to know better and I used to invite him to see how I did things and then he wanted to purchase the station but didn't want a new one as to not risk getting one that worked different and offered me more than I paid for it so I said what the heck. I always wanted the re-8500 but couldn't afford it back then. I sold the Jet and put about $800 in and bought the RE-8500. |
