Re balling Solution - it is become more easy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0hbDku6gZQ

New video extracted from main website.

Hints
  • Lower heater = fast re flow for 3 minutes before you put the JIG in the holder
  • upper heater in reflow level 2 for 1 minutes
  • upper heater in reflow level 4 for 2 minutes
  • Do not wait the balls to get complete re flow you will heat the IC again when you will solder it back to board

Hope to get feedback from ppl's after real trails

I have a machine without the level markings.
Can you, or someone else, please post the distances?
More specific, the distance the markers are from the top of the machine and maybe also from the pcb or holder?
Is there maybe a possibility to get the markers on it?
Jovy doesn't have tape or so to do it?

Regards and thanks in advance.

Time is not an issue when you about to do good work . Time reduce by practicing.

Solder past is not accurate to produce eutectic balls .

Hot air does not give uniform heating through all balls , how you will manage the process after re balling and make the soldering process ?

Never , heat the balls till complete melting point . It is not depend on specific temperature . just end when each ball toke it's place.

For the old version Level 2 about 3 cm. Level 4 is 5 cm from the PCB
Marks are graved in the machine Pillar moving the upper heater arm up and down may erase any marks by tape or permanent markers.
