hi guys
i have a gd87 that was unlock wrong way,now the mobile is dead, the battery has already been removed, when i try to flash with windmodo i get error that"failed to open comport"

n the time starts ,on other side of mobile the green light is on and on display :FLASH LOADER GD87 VERSION1.4,PARAMETERS:

IS WRITTEN

i know i have to reprogram in labtools, can any1 plz guide me how to do so? what to remove what flash to use etc

Very easy !!!

that is, if you have right equipment and know how to operate HOT Air Station !!

FLASH IC is NEC !! and is easily recognized, it is BGA IC , so if you take correct steps as many people have already said, no need to re-ball Flash IC, it can be soldered back to phone with existing balls !!, just use abundant amount of FLUX !

i flashed some gd87 ,,,,
but on 1/5 of flashing battery died

scary isn't it ?

i took aout battery ... connected to +5V for 15 minutes
put it back .... started flashing from WinModo
and pressed power on phone
flashing process started ... and finished OK
i unlocked it and my friend is now using it.

SO ....

new panasonics CANNOT BE KILLED while flashing
with WinModo .... unless you are an IDIOT.

Yes they still can be your phone survived coz u already flashed 1/5 so the boot core was programmed and intact so it restarted flashing otherwise you would also be posting here asking around what do do now or if anybody could arrange flash of GD87

this is for muhammed. when winmodo give message com1 open. u have to set ur baud rate at 115200. i think this will solve ur problem.

Yes if u get something written on the phone display then phone is not yet dead !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

check file and baudrate on the Winmodo !!
