GD88 unlock clip update file
 

Hi has anyone successfully upgrade the GD87 clip unlocker. I got one but cannot open the software. And does anyone know if the software updated to able to work with GU87 and North America GD88? Thank you in advance

Yes sure the update works 100%, working on new version GD67/87. Now gives 2 codes (yes the differant ones required by french handsets)

GU87 not supported, but this will come.

Make sure once clip is updated that text mode is set to "abc" not 123 or T9 otherwise wrong code or garbage will be displayed !!!

wait, if you have a GU-87 and you downgrade it to a A22 firmware, then couldn't you use any panasonic gd-87 unlocking clip???:confused: Because thats how i unlocked my GU-87, and the only thing preventing anyone from unlocking a GU-87 with a clip is because the firmware is too too too new in it, but once you downgraded via WinModo to A22 firmware, wouldn't the panasonic unlocking clip work like a charm? and once you are done, couldn't you just upgaded back to either a A38 firmware or better yet upgraded to a A39+ firmware using WinModo and CBK2000...? Someone tell me if i make any sense whatsoever....

is it that thing, which i have to buy and then use panaclient `?!

OK the new version of GD88/GU87 does not work with the clip. The clip flahses like normal process but it will not calculate the UNLock code out from the phone it will just keep flashing and that's it. I have tried to downgrade it to A19 and no it doesn't work at all. There are new Client out for newer version GD88 and America GU87 which can read the newer version of GD and GU. If you want to use the old client you have to do follow:

1. Downgrade the version to at least readable for Winmodo A19 etc...
2. Read it with Winmodo now and u can not creat a log.
3. Send it to your seller.
4. Punch in the codes.

Have fun people until we got the sim card GD clip upgrade to the newest version. This is our only way to unlock GU87 and Newer version GD88.

What do I need to downgrade or reflash to older version, in term of hardware? Never done this with Panasonic before. Can I use my datacable or have to have reflash cable? Where can I get Winmodo? Thanks for your help.

Hi do a search on this forum for Winmodo 0.3.0 and then buy a GD88 cable which is the same of GD92 then find a file name A21 or below flahs files then open the program MAKE SURE BOOT AND FLASH IS GREEN and open the file on the flasher button just push start he will ask you to push the power button then wait for erase file DO NOT DO ANYTHING UNTIL IT SAID COMPLETE IT WILL TAKE AROUND 15 MINS TO ERASE AND DOWNGRADE THE FILE. After it said complete then it's done. You can now read the file with GHOST 3d and make a log file of your phone then send it to you log seller. Hope this help.
