Locked Chinese Panasonic Gd 75
 

Hi,

I'm Tham from Malaysia.

I have a problem. I bought a second hand
Panasonic GD 75 mobile phone, which used
to belong to someone from China.

The phone appears to be locked to GSM 900 only.
That is, it can't use GSM 1800.

The phone will detect GSM 1800 networks, but
it can't call in or call out.

I've asked several local repairmen to unlock
the phone, but so far all have failed .
One of them told me that the phone's
hardware is locked as well. I didn't know
this was possible.

Here's the IMEI : 3507 24626 156 310

The phone appears to be registered to
the China Mobile network.

Any ideas ?
