New GD55's have problems with the Russian flash IMEI Changes to A1000000000051 >> - GSM-Forum

I have just got 20 pieces in to unlock, opened the first 10 and first 2 unlocked fine, IMEI in tact using the russian flash. So i carried on and set them up on a few machines to save time, only to find out that the next 4 units ended up with imei A1000000000051. I have unlocked loads of these phones from the early ones which IMEI ended 700 on each phone to the ones which unlocked ok.

Just thought id warn you all. If anyone can tell me if there is a away to check software version on GD55's let me know and i will give more info.

Any one that has more info or perhaps a cure please post below!!

This has never happened to me with russian flash
what program do you use not the one with the woman picture
on it. That is no good

He is using the right program mate.
I have had it confirmed to me today by someone who has a contact in Voda. The boxes they come in are different also apparently so you should be able to tell.

That is all the info I have at present.

Then use the program by VSH you can change back to original
with it

*#9999# and OK ... is with SIM ... for reset language to default
(usually English) ... somebody asked me that today
and i got it memorized

and ... *#369# is for test menu

Ok, so to enter test menu and find software version you need to enter *#369#

The software version of the latest gd55's in uk is:

030407n-01.00 VE1.PAC-1.06a BTCWE

With the Russian flash the imei will corrupt to:

A1000000000051

Obviously the Russian flash workis on a lot of phones out there.

For reference the software version of the phone once flashed with the Russian flash is:

021023n-01.00 VE1.PAC-0.97 BTCW.TH

My GD55 with Soft Ver 030407n-01.00 VE1.PAC-1.06b BTCWE....
unlocked with Rusian Flash and IMEI is OK....

I use Winmodo for Flasher....

I dont know, i just ask software name, and need version what is possible to do without any imei problem.

I heard also with winmodo and french flash file imei change in some version, but what version?
