What you need to do (gulp) is have a working gd87 remove the flash ic from the dead phone. Put the working phone into boot mode, remove the flash ic from the good phone, and then put the dead phones flash ic in its place. If all has gone well, the phone should reflash, and work correctly.

Far from it actually. That applies to the genius, and the fast and safe bits.
But thankyou anyway.
The cheaper jtag programmers are under a £1000 now

here is a thing i had some messages in my mobile (sms) one time when i flashed all the message was gone (or so did i thought) but when i checked today on review on sms option it still says (31/200) which obviously means there are still those messages somewhere in mobile..in my sim there are only 3 messages so mind telling how can i make those message appear again.. or where is it.. it hapened something when i did with cb2000 i used one ctc file after that it was gone.... the phone works perfect just wanna know if i can recover those messages or delete those msges.. cleaning memory dont work i think i tried that ..
