Serial Port error using Cb2000

Hey, Can anyone help me? I upgraded my phone to A53 with no sound, now I isolated the pins 4 and 10 and I clicked on headset power. I get an error message saying "failed open comms, to headset." Do I need to use CB2000 after I upgrade? What will it do? Can anyone plz help? Thanks a lot.

yes...u need to use CB2000 or u will find some problems like

phone can't turn on , SMS, MMS or WAP problem...(not a must to solve the side effect) , but can help a bit

but for cable problem, I have no idea, but if u are using service cable..u don't need to isolate.! (as they are disabled) and check the com port setting

Have you selected the right com port in cb2000?
Have you selected gd87 as phone type in cb2000?
Is isolation of pins 4 and 10 perfect?

It works fine now. Thank you so much for your input. Sorry about the late reply, I have been in LA for the past 3 weeks. I didn't isolate as good as I thought I did. Now I have a problem finding a program that will allow me to use the serial port cable to download ring tones and pictures into it. Any suggestions or programs that you can share? Thanks in advance.
