Unlock new version GD87 on U.K Orange?? - GSM-Forum

Orange U.K have just brought out a new version of software for the GD87. None of the clips I have will unlock it. They just flash their pretty lights and do no more.
I currently do not have one at hand, so cannot try this so I ask here instead. If the phone is flashed to a version that can be unlocked will the clips unlock it or not.
Anybody tried this??

downgrading will allow you to unlock the phone

mine have gon back to face off birmingham not to be mistaken
for the other face off theres alot of them in the midlands
my clip stoped unlocking 67 phones weeks ago

I bought a 2-1 from jic which is now a 4-1 £250 for the clip unlocks all Nokias, and unlocks all proper Sony-Ericssons. Bought the upgrade and it will now also do Panasonics, Sharps, and later will do P2k.
It is just a little too late for me to look around. I have to say though it has unlocked abroun 100 Sony ericssons (dating back a few months) and not one error or 4 locks closed. Smashing bit of kit.
I just have around 5 gd87 on Orange neither it nor the "proper" gd clip will do. There is apparently an update coming for this, but my customers are getting a bit edgy.

where can get gd87 unlocked, is it cheaper for logs or to buy a new clip. i will buy 100 logs to start if cheap enough

another old method

All new orange are usually with A39

downgrade to A22....unlock it by logger or clip

upgrade back to A39 by WINMODO (u can see it in net) ...but might be no sound version...

DONE!

forget one thing...erase the memory by DB2000 ....^_^!
