The most important thing in getting bb5 rpl is that you read healthy ask file from your phone,that's phone must boot OK.Then if you send a damaged ask file,you won't receive RPL.

If you received the " INVALID ASK DATA ! Use DKU2 USB cable !" message, then your credits are returned. You don't lose anything.

hi,
i have same problem, (invalid ask file). i read it again and compare the files. in fact, there are the same files, (byte per byte). can somebody tell where is the problem?

Read it again using another Nokia tool and send back to server.

use 6 pin modifie cable which allow u to enter test mode. then use JAF or MT to read the ask file. DKU-2 works but not always. tested by me 3 times
