Scout not update , erro - GSM-Forum

Good afternoon friends.

I have SmartClip with USB adapter enabled with Scard and both are updated. So I did purchase a Dongle Scout because I learned from colleagues that he is good and easier to work, however I can not upgrade the Scout. My SmartClip is enabled by Scard and I think it has nothing to do by jet Sclout work alone and do not need it because he's a Dongle or Sclout SmartClip needs to activate it?

@ elvisluizs,

First of all you have S-Card, not SCout dongle.
S-Card can be updated using online updater, just as the Smart-Clip. Please notice, Smart-Clip box is required in order to update S-Card.
Second screenshot shows that Smart-Clip box could not be detected.
It could happen to due to many reasons, here are some of them:

Smart-Clip is not connected to PC
Low power supply for Smart-Clip (it is recommended to use 10V 1A or 12V 750mA with the Smart-Clip)
PC is running not under Administrato account
Wrong LPT settings in BIOS (LPT settings suppose to be set to EPP)

no friend I have both, the Scout is black with the letter S Green.
my scard is blue with purple details.

I bought Scoult but when I enter the program it asks to update. my SmartClip not ta problem with I normal use.

I just can not use the tool Scout who bought these days.

repeating my problem is not in SmartClip but in Scoult I bought but did not want to run is asking to update.
