Erase BB5 for jaf.. help~

1 . how to know the phone need which ERASE FILE ...
2. if using wrong ERASE FILE what will happen ??
3. i m trying with 6680 erase with 8mb , 16mb , 32mb , and epp 8 ,16 ,32
there are all successfull ERASED .. and can flash back like normal..

4. if USING official ERASE FILE erase_rap_adl_loader_modatty_by_tkr.fps8
will STILL keep the IMEI ?



5. how about new 5700 RAPDIO erase file ? JAF have it ? and also N95

for erasing normal bb5 phones which have RAP mcu just use BB5Erase_universal_RAP.bin its universal works with all

and for rapido phones like n95,5700,6110n etc use BB5Erase_universal_rapido.bin it works with all rapido phones its also universal

just select this files in mcu

both files attach below

yes by using this file u will still have avalid imei

I have 2 question :

1.If we erase those file. Your phone will have Imei damage?
2.We use those files,we can flash it with any firmware version as erase file 8mb,16mb,32mb?

yes this erase file is same as u use 8mb,16mb and 32 mb but this file is uni it can be used with any phone (bb5only)

and it will automatically set as phone needs 8 mb or 16 mb or 32 mb

None of the present erase files work for 5700u may test.Anybody have a working erase file for 5700?

as i know . there only MT BOX have a MODIFIED ERASE FILE for RAPIDO 5700 ....

6280 ， 6233 CPU FLASH , CROSS OVER
anybody got exp 6280 RAP and FLASH move to 6233？？

i moved the 6280 RAP and FLASH to 6233 .
Flashing to 6280 firmware phone got imei
but if i flashing to 6233 firmware phone imei 123456

already try with ERASE or else. result the same


1)if i flashing to 6233 firmware phone imei 123456
2)i write back backup RPL == phone got imei but cant go in local mode and the public key will gone

ps:N70 , 6680 , 6630 can change CROSSS OVER。。(Tested)
