phone disconec after push tp...thats cable problem..or change GND position...

try to connect ground close to tp.

also make sure u dont short any pins while connecting.

make sure connection at the bottom is clean

u are touching wrong pin my friend, check if phone still in test/local mode after unlocking attempt

Hi all,
I have a 6233 that nees to be counter reset. I see on support that counter reset is supported for 6233 RM 145 v4.52. I tried it and got version not supported. I Upgraded flash to V4.91 which I also saw on support, yet it still says does not support for counter reset.

Can anyone say wat I am doing wrong. Its a Spansion 6233 RM 145 currently V4.91? Should upgrade it further to 5.10 ? Thats the last one I see on the support list. Wat to do

Thanks, but I am not even asked for connect TP yet. I just read the phone to reset counter and I get message saying not supported. And its just a 6233 RM145 now V04.91 25-9-06. Any further ideas anyone?

I think you may need glasses - 6233 is not supported for counter reset - just for unlock.

Well the strangest thing happend. I wrote back the PM 308 file that I had saved before I tried unlocking it. No counters are saying 0. But when I try to unlock again I am getting this error now.:--

u r touching wrong pin on rap, and yo phone is switching off thats why you r getting that error...

You know you could be right. I was just lucky to touche the right ones when using JAF-VSPEC. Anyway I am happy that it is now unlocked. Thanks to all who helped. And yes this is my first 6233. I will now try 6280
