bb5-box kill my nokia 5300 - GSM-Forum

hi;

i was unlocking one nokia 5300 with my bb5-box: During the process, it ask to Write PM308, i select the correct PM308 and now the phone it`s dead. I was trying to flash on with my JAF and UFS3 and says NOT BOOTING FILE.

Just unlocked one 5300 with ATB chip with BB5 box without problem.

@Emely, program does not ask to write PM308 field during unlock proces.
It is an optional function which you need after 10 wrong tries.

box work ok and can not kill any phone the problem is
you need orginal nokia jarcher acp-12x or see here

I tried what you says and says asking me to write PM308. and doesn`t unlock.

PLEASE read and try to understand User Manual, your probelm is clearly describet there !!!

My t-mobile 5300 fails after tp, then it can't be turned on test mode anymore to retry again...

just unlocked a 5300 black xpress music without problems. Did you use ACP-12 as already said? There is no need to use a charger on this one. If it wont power up its probably a dead Tahvo power ic

. Try to flash it to see if there is still life in it. However very strange cause this model is quite safe and easy to unlock since its without charger. N73 is quite a bastard.
