Member: 695399 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Trouble Unlocking 6300 With BB5 Box - Nokia 6300 Using Test Point Jig- Please Help :) I would appreciate some help as im having trouble unlocking a 6300. I have the BB5 Box setup using the V.16 firmeware and a testpoint jig. Every time I try to use the software to access the phone I get the following error - I have the box connected via the RJ45 cable and the test point jig, see below - If any one can answer these questions it would be appreciated - There is a small button on the jig pcb, do I need to press this at any point? There are two small on / off switches on the pcb, currently both set to on. Is this correct? Thanks in advance! |

Member: 695399 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I am trying to use the testpoint jig yes. It seems to be making correct contact too but the software just seems to come up with the same error message. I have also tried another nokia model + testpoint jig with the same software and it does not seem to want to work. Do you know what the switches on the jig pcb are for? Thanks for your help |

Member: 234917 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 160 | It is quicker to unlock using the normal test point cable than using this adapter. In any case you should learn how to do it properly as this is one of the easiest phones to unlock - what will you do when you need to unlock an e65? You need to press the power button before you can read the phone. I don't think you will get much help here on how to use these tp adapters as I don't think anyone uses them. BR Ronan |
