6234, 6280 error 08 - GSM-Forum

i have "error 08" with a lot of bb5 phones when i try to unlock with jaf+.
something is wrong, maybe cables. i have unlocked just a 6234 with jaf+. rest of bb5 phones works without problems sometime with bb5box or everytime with mt-pro. anybody have some answers?

First update to 6.43 and

modify you cable..and place your tp point in correct location...

code 08 is nearly always wrong or bad test point. make sure you get the test point right.

yes i believe you that u have knowledge using it. but tell me plz if in the cable u are using are fuses or not, jaf plus or vspec does not work if cable have fuses inside.

also it is possible to buy this phone which not work? i am also from romania

strange someone who only just joins has only 1 post talks as if they are so sure it is tp prob maybe you are not who you say you are

and tp is 1000% connected correctly have even tried several cables so can only be down to sh*t product sorry to say this but JAF box will get a bad name using these useless add ons that are not very reliable

yes tried with fuse and short accross fuse i.e no fuse i know you are from romania friend to manole/zulea

i have my jaf+ a few weeks, and make 6280,5200,5300,N73,e50,6233,6234. all fine with cables that come with Box (no Fuse)

but in N80 i have 5 phone that says error code 8.

could´t be tp error because it says sending.......error code 8.

otherwise if tp is wrong it says faild..

so i put anothe cable tiner from PS2 chips, and try again on N73....
and works ok.

on N80 again code 8.

try another version of jaf 1.98.41/1.98.42/1.98.43/44 and 45 that i use always the last the error still stays.

so i try with +4v power battery, no result.

the version on phone is that in manual.

so i make another cable short cables new test points tiners and the result still the same.

has anyone try N80 and gone sucessfull????

i´de like to know.

I have bought my JAF+ box three weeks ago from GSM-TRADERS (nlogomaster). did you know if the cable supplied with box from this reseller is fuses or not?? becuase I cannot unlock 6280 even after upgrade to 6.43 with other models no problem.

humb11luis No Life Poster Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: portugal Posts: 835 Member: 37485 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 77	i have my jaf+ a few weeks, and make 6280,5200,5300,N73,e50,6233,6234. all fine with cables that come with Box (no Fuse) but in N80 i have 5 phone that says error code 8. could´t be tp error because it says sending.......error code 8. otherwise if tp is wrong it says faild.. so i put anothe cable tiner from PS2 chips, and try again on N73.... and works ok. on N80 again code 8. try another version of jaf 1.98.41/1.98.42/1.98.43/44 and 45 that i use always the last the error still stays. so i try with +4v power battery, no result. the version on phone is that in manual. so i make another cable short cables new test points tiners and the result still the same. has anyone try N80 and gone sucessfull???? i´de like to know.
